Mini Comic-Con® Teen Art Contest happening at Walkerton Branch Library
Bruce County Public Library is hosting its first ever Mini Comic-Con® Saturday, March 9 at Walkerton Branch Library and as part of the celebrations, offering a fan art contest just for teens! Whether you love anime, Harry Potter, hobbits, Archie or Stranger Things; paint, pencils or mixed media, the library will happily display your artistic homage to your favourite fandom! The winner of the contest will receive a prize package of art supplies from The Colour Jar in Durham, plus all submissions will be displayed on the Art Wall at the Walkerton Branch Library throughout the entire month of March. The deadline for submissions is February 22. There’s a few small rules, so before you begin, please contact your local Bruce County Public Library Branch to pick up a registration package. Winner will be chosen by fans the day of the event. |
